Are these real?
these figures are not real but our eye perceives them as subsisting forms of space. How do we then explain this illusion?
the ones we have seen are the works of art by Swiss artist Felice Varini genius of anamorphic.
He had a great idea: imagine the three-dimensional spaces that surround us as if they were a single, flat surface on which to apply two-dimensional geometric shapes. Only a precise angle the viewer is able to visually assemble the composition and work life.
Urban spaces, interiors, landscapes become real, for Varini, a sheet on which to compose and paste geometric shapes.
